This was again a stunning, proud lady so it was not too tricky to capture her best side! This was the first commission completed with the coloured art pencils. I was pretty nervous to take this portrait on after being shown the multiple other pet portraits that decorated the client’s house once the photo shoot was complete!  The bar was set pretty high but once I got to work I got lost in the layers of colour and once complete I loved the finished result.

I have taken Skye as an example of the step-by-step process of how I complete a commission: from photo shoot, photo selection, to stages of completion and finally to the bespoke Fine English Bone China for the extended family!
